Share a live board, scorecard, or profile

Share a match link from the app or the website. Finished matches can share a scorecard image. Profile QR is on My Profile.

Sharing is how a match reaches the group that is not at the ground. Everything you share is a normal link on countycricket.app, and nobody needs an account to open it.

Share a match

On a match, tap the share icon in the app, or Share at the top of the match page on the website. The link takes the form countycricket.app/match/… followed by the screen — live, scorecard, insights, and so on — and it opens the screen you were looking at. Share from Insights and your friends land on Insights.

Share a scorecard picture

From a match with balls scored, the app can send a picture of the scorecard together with the link. On Android it opens WhatsApp directly when it is installed (WhatsApp Business too), otherwise you get the normal share sheet. On an iPhone you get the share sheet.

Share a player

Your profile QR is under You → QR icon. It opens your public page: career numbers, badges, and recent matches — never a private chat. Share on your profile sends the same page as a link. On the website, a player page also has a Share button.

What the person who opens it sees

  • With the County Cricket app: the link opens the app on that match. If they are not signed in, they sign in first and are then taken to the match.
  • Without it: the same page opens in the browser, with a link to get the app. Opening shared links explains the details.
  • Nobody needs an account to watch.

If the score looks old

The scorer’s phone has not synced yet. Ask them to come online once and the board catches up on its own. Do not send us a new score — we cannot edit one from the site.
