Everything on this page is worked out for you from the matches you play or score. You never claim a badge, and you never submit a number.
Badges
There are 98 badges to collect, in eight groups: career, batting, bowling, format, role, style, social, and fielding. Each has a rarity — common, rare, epic, or legendary — and some come in tiers, so a badge like Run Bank grows through several levels as your career runs add up. Scorers can earn badges for the matches they score.
- When they unlock: when a match completes (or ends in a walkover), County Cricket looks at every linked player’s full history and unlocks anything newly earned. It can take a few seconds after the result is saved.
- Older matches count: if a player slot in an earlier match is linked to your account when you sign up, your history is re-checked and any badges you had already earned appear.
- They stay: badges are never taken away, even if a score is edited afterwards.
- Fielding badges: seven are in the catalogue but switched off until the pad records who took the catch. That is why 98 of the 105 defined badges are live.
Find your badges under You → Badges, with a celebration when a new one unlocks. Public player pages on countycricket.app show a player’s badges too — the first twelve, then how many more.
The Leaderboard
You → Leaderboard ranks up to 100 registered players from completed matches. It is split three ways by style — Target, Head to Head, and Double header — and two ways by discipline, Batting and Bowling, so a great Head to Head batter is not compared with a Target bowler.
- Batting is ranked by most runs. A tie is broken by strike rate, then by innings. Each row shows innings, runs, average, and strike rate.
- Bowling is ranked by most wickets. A tie is broken by economy, then by innings. Each row shows innings, wickets, economy, and average.
- Your own row is pinned to the bottom, so you can see where you stand even if you are outside the top list.
Performance and Matches I Scored
Performance shows your career numbers with filters for All, Target, Head to Head, and Double header. Matches I Scored lists what you scored as the active scorer. Reading your Performance page explains every column.
