Delete your account: what goes and what stays

How to delete your account, what is removed, what is kept so old scorecards still make sense, and the YouTube step to do yourself.

You can delete your account at any time from the app. It cannot be undone, so the app asks you to confirm twice.

How to do it

  1. Open Settings and choose Delete account (the last item on the page).
  2. Read the first prompt: “Your account will be removed. Match scores stay as placeholders.” Tap Continue.
  3. Read the second prompt: “This cannot be undone. Permanently delete your account?” Tap Delete account.

What is removed

  • Your login and your profile.
  • The copies of your data the app keeps on your phone.

What stays

Match scorecards are shared history — other people played in them too. They stay, and player names on them may stay so a group card still makes sense. The phone numbers on those rows are cleared, so a scorecard no longer points to you.

Two things to do yourself

  • If you connected YouTube for Go Live, disconnect County Cricket in your Google account settings.
  • A profile link or QR you shared earlier will no longer show your profile once the account is gone.
