This is the short version of the Privacy policy. If the two ever seem to disagree, the policy is the one that counts — but they are meant to say the same thing.
What we collect
- Your mobile number, to sign you in with a one-time code.
- A profile: your name, date of birth, city, batting and bowling style, and optionally a photo, playing role, and email.
- Match data: sides, player names, every ball, the ground, photos and stories you add.
- Social activity: who you follow, chat messages, and your notification choices.
- A push token so alerts can reach your phone, and a copy of your matches on the phone so scoring works offline.
What anyone with a link can see
- Live and completed scores, display names, profile photos, venues, and match Gallery photos.
- Public player pages: career numbers, badges, and recent matches. Phone numbers never appear.
- A YouTube stream, under YouTube’s own rules.
What stays in the app
- Your phone number and your date of birth are never shown to anyone else. Only you can read your date of birth.
- Follow lists, chat, and stories are visible only inside the app.
- Chat photos are removed after 30 days, and stories after 24 hours.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
- The website sets no advertising cookies and has no login.
- We do not upload the names in your contacts, and we do not store raw GPS.
- Crash reports have phone numbers removed before they leave the phone.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, turn each kind of notification on or off, revoke any permission in your phone’s settings, disconnect YouTube in your Google account, and delete your account from Settings. Permissions explained covers the phone permissions one by one, and Delete your account covers what happens when you do.
