Edit score after a completed match

Organiser or assigned scorer, completed matches only. Fix the ball as a draft, preview it, then publish — up to five times.

Mistakes happen in the sun. After a match is completed, the organiser or the assigned scorer can open Edit score in the app. It reopens the scoring pad with the match’s saved history, so you can undo the wrong ball and score it again — as a draft that only you can see until you publish.

The rules

  • Only completed matches can be edited. Abandoned and walkover matches cannot.
  • Only the organiser and the assigned scorer see Edit score. It is on the Summary and Scorecard tabs.
  • Each match allows five published edits, shared by the organiser and the scorer. The match shows how many are left.
  • Only Publish counts. Undoing, re-entering balls, and discarding a draft cost nothing.
  • Publishing sends one “score updated” alert to people following the match.

How to do it

  1. Open the completed match and tap Edit score on the Summary or Scorecard tab.
  2. Tap Undo to remove the wrong ball.
  3. Enter the correct ball on the pad.
  4. Tap Preview & publish. Check the before and after score, then Publish.

If the edits run out

Once all five are used, Edit score is hidden. The organiser can tap Unlock more edits on the Summary tab to reset the count. The scorer cannot.

What we do not do

The public website never accepts a new score, and we will not change a result by email. If the board still looks behind after you publish, come online once so the last overs sync. Share the same match link — watchers see the updated card after sync.
