The style decides how many innings there are, who wins, and which side sizes you can choose. Start from how many people you have and what kind of game you want.
By number of players
- Two of you (1 vs 1): Target if you want a single chase with a number to beat, or Head to Head if you want to both bat and both bowl and compare totals.
- Three of you (1 vs 2): Target or Double header. The lone player can bat or bowl against the pair; sides do not need to match.
- Four of you (2 vs 2): Target or Double header.
By the kind of match
- A quick contest with one number to chase — Target. Set the target on Let’s Play; the live board shows what is needed and the required run rate.
- A fair duel where both people get the same job — Head to Head. Each player bats an innings and bowls an innings, and the higher score wins.
- A proper two-innings match between sides — Double header. Both sides bat, and the higher side total wins.
Things that do not change
Whichever style you choose, you can score offline, share the same link, assign a scorer and a streamer, go live to YouTube, and edit the score after the match. Overs, wickets, and fielders are set on Let’s Play, not on create, so you can decide them at the ground once you know how much time and daylight you have.
