Live, Delayed, Upcoming, Result — what each status means

Where a match appears, why a Future match can sit there past its start time, and what Delayed, Abandoned, Walkover, and Cancelled do.

Every match has a status, and the status decides which list it is in and what you can do with it. The same statuses are used in the app and on the website.

Before it starts

  • Draft — a match still being set up. Drafts never appear on the website.
  • Scheduled and Upcoming — a fixture with a time and a ground. It shows under Future on the website and under My Matches → Upcoming in the app.

While it is on

  • Live — balls are being scored.
  • Delayed — play is paused (rain, a lost ball, lunch). It still appears under Live and goes back to live when the scorer chooses Resume.

How it ends

  • Completed — the match reached a result. It can be corrected with Edit score by the organiser or the assigned scorer, up to five published edits.
  • Walkover — one side is given the match. Final: it cannot be edited.
  • Abandoned — the match stopped without a winner. Final: it cannot be edited. Its scorecard stays available.
  • Cancelled — called off. It also shows under Past.

On the website, Live and Delayed matches are grouped under Live, Scheduled ones under Future, and everything with an ending under Past. Finished matches open on the scorecard; everything else opens on the live board.
