County Cricket is two things that share one scoreboard. The app is where a match is created and scored. The website is where everyone else watches, with no account and no install.
On the website, for anyone
- Browse Live, Future, and Past matches.
- Open the match hub: Info, Live or Summary, Scorecard, Insights, Commentary, and Gallery.
- Watch the YouTube broadcast under the score while a match is streaming.
- Search players, grounds, and locations, and open player, ground, and location pages.
- Share a match or a player page with one tap, and open it in the app if you have it.
- Read Blogs, Help / FAQs, About us, What’s new, Privacy, and Terms.
In the app only
- Sign in with a mobile number and a one-time code.
- Create, schedule, and score matches — offline if you need to — and Edit score afterwards.
- Match Crew: name a scorer and a streamer, and transfer either job.
- Go Live to YouTube from the phone’s camera.
- Follow players and grounds, stories, and one-to-one chat.
- Notifications, badges, the Leaderboard, and Performance.
- Adding photos to a match’s Gallery.
Why it is split this way
Scoring has to work with no signal, so it lives on the phone. The website has no login and sets no advertising cookies, which keeps it fast to open from a shared link and safe to share. Anything that changes a score, sends a message, or uses your camera needs an account, so it stays in the app.
