Every match has an organiser — the person who created it — and two optional jobs: the scorer, who logs the balls, and the streamer, who publishes the video to YouTube. Match Crew is how you give those jobs to other people. If you leave it blank, you do both yourself.
Naming a crew at create
When you create or schedule a match, enter a registered mobile number for a scorer and/or a streamer. They get an invite in the app and must accept it. If the person has not signed up yet, the role is linked to them as soon as they register with that number.
Changing the crew mid-match
- The match must be live or delayed.
- Open Match settings on that match — not the app’s Settings list.
- Tap Transfer scorer or Transfer streaming and enter their registered number.
- They accept in their app. Balls already logged stay on the card, and the public match link does not change.
Two phones, one seat
Scoring and streaming each have a single seat, so two phones can never do the same job at once. When a transfer is accepted, the old phone becomes view-only for scoring, or steps aside for streaming. The organiser keeps access to Go Live even when a streamer is assigned, so a no-show streamer cannot block the match.
Taking over streaming on the spot
If a second phone taps Go Live while the first is streaming, it asks for a handover and waits up to 90 seconds. The first phone accepts and keeps publishing until the new one is on air, so the same YouTube video carries on. There is no force takeover.
