Open Search from the search icon on Home, or Search at the top of this site. Type at least three characters: a player’s name, a ground, or a city. Paste a profile link and it opens that player’s page.
What comes back
- Players — open one for a career page. People who never signed up show as “Not on County Cric” with how many matches they were added to — open one to see those matches. Search never matches on a phone number, and never shows one. Phone numbers are never shown in results or on profiles.
- Grounds — a venue. Its page lists what is playing, what is coming, and what has been played, with All, Live, Upcoming, and Results filters.
- Locations — a city, taken from the grounds people have used there. It lists the matches in that city the same way.
Use the chips under the search box to narrow the results to one kind. In the app, suggested players show before you type anything.
Finding people in the app
The Follow tab has Contacts, Location, Followers, Following, Grounds, Teammates, and Opponents. Contacts uses the numbers on your phone — only if you allowed it — to show who is already on County Cricket. Teammates and Opponents come from matches you have played.
